What Are
LIFEgroups?
LIFEgroups
are the discipleship arms of the body of Mt. Zion. Small groups are a vital
part of our community, providing an environment where people can grow
spiritually and build relationship with others. Each person benefits from the
encouragement and experience of group members regardless where you are on your
spiritual journey.
What Does a LIFEgroup or HOMEgroup Look Like?
A LIFEgroup/HOMEgroup has 4 - 10 people who meet
weekly.
Each group is independent. Which allows them to decide
times to meet, what to study, and more.
Why Would I Join a Small Group?
A nurturing community is essential for our spiritual
growth! LIFEgroups/HOMEgroups bring our faith back into the arena of active and
vibrant participation, rather than being "religious spectators".
LIFEgroups/HOMEgroups
provide a setting in which strongholds (addictions, relationship issues, and the
like) are demolished through prayer, friendships are created through fellowship,
and the bible is broken down into understandable truths that we can apply to our
daily lives.
In
LIFEgroups/HOMEgroups members minister to each other, discover and use their
spiritual gifts, and are discipled in the teachings of Christ.
