What others are saying about Praise Jam:

“I see a true mission and ministry here and I'm very pleased and honored to be a part of it”.

Glen Giles – Nineveh Guitars, First Presbyterian Church

“What a neat time we had at your first “Praise Jam”!  Thanks for putting it all together.  Your church family did a great job welcoming us and hosting the session.  We will certainly try to come again and will invite others as well.”

Kim Scarbrough – Wynnbrook Baptist Church.

"Great job last night.  Oneway (the Gentian Youth Praise Band) enjoyed every minute. . . I think everyone had a great time. Thanks for staying on message about it not being a performance or entertainment but a time to worship our Lord. The kids were already asking me when you are going to do this again. You created a stir.  Keep it going."

Orlando Sierra – Gentian Baptist Church

“. . . since I'm a novice harp player this group might be a great opportunity for more experienced players/singers to work with amateurs like myself.  I really look forward to this opportunity, especially the worship opportunities for me and my church members.”

Francis Gardner  - Midland United Methodist Church

“I have thought for some years that it would be fun to have something like it and I was totally curious about how it would work out when I saw your flyer . . .I had a good time.  I could tell you guys had spent some time planning for the event.

. . .The food and the meeting time downstairs was great.  I got to meet some new folks.  The free Chick-Fil-A was a big plus too…thank Daniel Grier (Wynnton Road Chick-Fil-A) for that.  The guitar giveaway was cool too”.

                                                         Justin Belew- Morningside Baptist Church

"(My son) Thomas really enjoyed it. After Church Sunday he almost drug me to the music store to buy a guitar so we could play together with David. The fact that the store was closed barely deterred him."

Rob Hines - Mt. Zion Baptist Church

What I liked best about Praise Jam

"Getting to be in a relaxed atmosphere of Praise and Worship was refreshing.  Allowing the various folks to join in and participate."

" The combined church idea, and an opportunity for young people to grow in their music/worship experiences."

"Playing some new songs.  The intergenerational aspect of it."

What surprised me most about Praise Jam

"I was a little surprised how much my (teenaged) kids . . .enjoyed it.  They were a little reluctant about being there, but (my son) said he would like to come back and bring some other middle/high school musicians."

"The orderliness and promptness of the program...organized and not "out of control"."

"The attendance.  I think close to 70 were there.  I think that's a SUPER start!! "
